Zadar is lovely town with unmistakable Roman plan of streets and Forum. It's adorned with plentitude of early Christian, Romanesque, Renaissance and Baroque buildings and churches. What makes its position desirable is vicinity of small shops, (butcher, fresh bread, fresh vegetables) big commercial stores and being in town without noise and crowds. Not to mention that parking is always available otherwise it can be source of serious headache in Zadar during tourist season.
